ProA Round 16: C. Africain edge JS Manazeh by two points

However their fans expected much easier game. C. Africain have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 12-4 record behind leader Ezzahra, which they share with US Monastir. JS Manazeh at the other side keeps the seventh place with ten games lost. C. Africain is looking forward to face US Monastir (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. JS Manazeh will play against ES Rades (#4) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.

Stade Nabeulien at the other side keeps the sixth place with nine games lost. Ezzahra will play against JS Kairouan (#5) on the road in the next round. Stade Nabeulien will play against Sfaxien and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Bottom-ranked Sfaxien (0-16) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 109-58 loss to third ranked US Monastir (12-4) in Monastir on Sunday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. US Monastir have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with C. Africain. Newly promoted Sfaxien still closes the standings. US Monastir will meet at home league's second-placed C. Africain in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sfaxien will play against Stade Nabeulien (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.

In the last two games of round 16 US Ansar was defeated by ES Rades in a road game 80-69. DSG beat JS Kairouan at home 87-82.

C. Africain - JS Manazeh 82-80

Loser US Ansar keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. They share it with DSG. ES Rades will meet JS Manazeh (#7) on the road in the next round. US Ansar will play against DSG and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

DSG - JS Kairouan 87-82

There was a surprise result when ninth ranked DSG (5-11) defeated at home higher ranked JS Kairouan (10-6) 87-82 on Sunday. DSG moved-up to eighth place, which they share with US Ansar. JS Kairouan lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with ES Rades. DSG will meet US Ansar (#9) in the next round. JS Kairouan will play against the league's leader Ezzahra (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.

US Monastir - Sfaxien 109-58
