ProA Round 9: US Monastir is upset by ES Rades

The game between third ranked US Monastir (6-3) and fifth ranked ES Rades (6-3) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. US Monastir was defeated by ES Rades in Monastir 88-78. ES Rades moved-up to third place, which they share with US Monastir and JS Kairouan. ES Rades is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Sfaxien (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. US Monastir will play against DSG (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
Leader C. Africain delivered the seventh victory. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Sfaxien (0-9) 85-56. C. Africain (7-2) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place, which they share with Ezzahra. Newly promoted Sfaxien still closes the standings with nine games lost. C. Africain will play against Stade Nabeulien (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Sfaxien will play against ES Rades (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
The game in was also quite interesting. Second ranked Ezzahra (7-2) played at the court of 7th ranked US Ansar (3-6). Ezzahra defeated US Ansar 77-63 on Saturday. Ezzahra keeps a position of league leader, which they share with C. Africain. US Ansar lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. Ezzahra will meet JS Manazeh (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. US Ansar will play against JS Kairouan and hope to secure a win.

In the last two games of round 9 Stade Nabeulien was crushed by JS Kairouan in a road game 64-39. JS Manazeh beat DSG at home 88-86.

US Monastir - ES Rades 78-88

They moved-up to third place, which they share with US Monastir and ES Rades. Stade Nabeulien at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with JS Manazeh. JS Kairouan will meet US Ansar (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Stade Nabeulien will play against the league's leader C. Africain in Tunis and hope to secure a win.

JS Manazeh - DSG 88-86

The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked JS Manazeh's (4-5) home victory over 9th ranked DSG (2-7) 88-86 on Saturday. JS Manazeh moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Stade Nabeulien. DSG at the other side keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. JS Manazeh will meet at home league's second-placed Ezzahra in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. DSG will play against US Monastir (#5) and hope to secure a win.

US Ansar - Ezzahra 63-77
