ProA Round 8: C. Africain takes over a leadership position

Leading Ezzahra (6-2) recorded its second loss at the home court. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked JS Kairouan (5-3) 72-70. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Ezzahra. JS Kairouan have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with ES Rades. Ezzahra at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with US Monastir and C. Africain.
A very close game took place in Rades between JS Manazeh and ES Rades. Eighth ranked JS Manazeh (3-5) got a very close victory on the road over higher ranked ES Rades (5-3). JS Manazeh managed to escape with a 3-point win 82-79 on Wednesday evening. JS Manazeh moved-up to seventh place, which they share with US Ansar. Loser ES Rades dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with JS Kairouan.

In the last two games of round 8 US Ansar was beaten by DSG on the road 75-74. Stade Nabeulien destroyed Sfaxien on its own court 85-52.

C. Africain - US Monastir 65-56

There was a small surprise when ninth ranked DSG (2-6) edged at home 7th ranked US Ansar (3-5) 75-74 on Wednesday. DSG maintains ninth position with 2-6 record. US Ansar lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with five games lost. They share the position with JS Manazeh.

Stade Nabeulien - Sfaxien 85-52

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Sfaxien (0-8) was smashed on the road by sixth ranked Stade Nabeulien (4-4) 85-52 on Wednesday. Stade Nabeulien maintains sixth position with 4-4 record. Newly promoted Sfaxien still closes the standings with eight games lost.
