ProA Round 7: Leader Ezzahra gets another victory

There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in ProA. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Leader Ezzahra delivered the sixth win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Stade Nabeulien (3-4) 79-48. Ezzahra have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-1 record, which they share with US Monastir. Stade Nabeulien lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with US Ansar. Ezzahra is looking forward to face JS Kairouan (#5) at home in the next round. Stade Nabeulien will play against Sfaxien and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
The game in Manazeh was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked C. Africain (5-2) played at the court of 8th ranked JS Manazeh (2-5). C. Africain managed to secure a 5-point victory 87-82 on Saturday. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for C. Africain. They moved-up to third place, which they share with ES Rades. JS Manazeh at the other side keeps the eighth position with five games lost. C. Africain will meet at home league's second-placed US Monastir in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. JS Manazeh will play against ES Rades (#3) and hope to secure a win.

In the last two games of round 7 ES Rades defeated US Ansar in a road game 64-47. JS Kairouan beat DSG at home 68-66.



JS Manazeh - C. Africain 82-87

The game in Manazeh was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked C. Africain (5-2) played at the court of 8th ranked JS Manazeh (2-5). C. Africain managed to secure a 5-point victory 87-82 on Saturday. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for C. Africain. They moved-up to third place, which they share with ES Rades. JS Manazeh at the other side keeps the eighth position with five games lost. US Ansar - ES Rades 47-64

There was no surprise when 7th ranked US Ansar (3-4) was defeated at home by third ranked ES Rades (5-2) 64-47 on Saturday. ES Rades maintains third place with 5-2 record behind leader Ezzahra, which they share with C. Africain. Loser US Ansar dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Stade Nabeulien. ES Rades will meet at home JS Manazeh (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. US Ansar will play against DSG and hope to secure a win.

Stade Nabeulien - Ezzahra 48-79

JS Kairouan - DSG 68-66

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked JS Kairouan (4-3) edged at home 9th ranked DSG (1-6) 68-66 on Saturday. JS Kairouan moved-up to fifth place. DSG lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with six games lost. JS Kairouan will meet league's leader Ezzahra on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. DSG will play against US Ansar (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
