Chris Crawford

Defending champion U.S. Monastir (ProA) strengthened their roster with addition of 28-year old American 193cm guard Chris Crawford, college: Memphis for upcoming season. It is actually his comeback to Monastir as he has played here before. Crawford moved there from Ezzahra Sports in Tunisian ProA where he played this season. He helped them to make it to the Tunisian League final after they ended regular season as second best team. Crawford also played for Club Africain Tunis earlier that season.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Crawford's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America) in seven different countries. Crawford has played previously professionally in France, Lebanon (Beirut Club, Homentmen and Louaize), Mexico (Caballeros de Culiacan), NBA (Memphis Grizzlies), NBA G League (Iowa Wolves and Canton Charge) and The Basketball Tournament (Memphis State and Bluff City).
Among many awards Crawford selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League 2nd Team between 2018 and 2019.
He attended University of Memphis until 2014 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
