Mourad El Mabrouk

Defending champion U.S. Monastir (ProA) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old international shooting guard Mourad El Mabrouk (194cm-84kg) for new 20-21 season. He moved there from Ezzahra Sports. He helped them to make it to the Tunisian League final after they ended regular season as second best team. El Mabrouk also spent pre-season at Hermine Nantes Atlantique (ProB) in French league.
He has been also a member of Tunisian international program for some years. El Mabrouk has regularly played for Tunisian senior team since 2003 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2004.
He represented Tunisia at the Afrobasket Championships four years ago. El Mabrouk's team won Gold and his stats at that event were 6 games: 9.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 3.8apg, FGP: 36.8%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 85.7%.
El Mabrouk has spent his entire career in France playing for two other teams: Club Africain Tunis and ES Rades.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others His team won French ProB Leaders Cup in 2020. El Mabrouk was also voted Afrobasket.com All-Afrobasket Championships 1st Team back in 2017.
On El Mabrouk: A big bodied SG who can be a true threat from outside, given his great three-point shooting accuracy.
