Modou Mbaye

J.S.Manazeh (ProA) agreed to terms with 27-year old Senegalese ex-international forward Modou Mbaye (202cm-88kg). He started the season at Basket SKT Ieper in Belgian Top Division I. In two games he had 5.0ppg and 8.0rpg. The last season Mbaye played at Ibersol C.B. Tarragona (EBA) in the Spanish league where in 20 games he recorded 11.4ppg and 6.0rpg. He helped them to win the regular season.

Mbaye also represented Senegal at the World Championships U19 in Prague (Czech Republic) eight years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 6.0ppg, 4.2rpg, FGP: 33.3%, 3PT: 13.8%, FT: 54.5%.

Mbaye has played also professionally for other Spanish teams like Real Madrid, Real Madrid 2nd team, Alcazar, Palencia, and Marin.

On Mbaye: A forward with incredible leaping ability and athletic skills, he can yet fill the lanes in the open court and finish with thunderous dunks. Needs to improve all the technical part of the game, for sure has great potential.
