Ray Mitchell

Tacapes 20 (National 1) agreed terms with 31-year old American guard Ray Mitchell (201cm-95kg-89, college: CS Stanislaus). He played last summer at Nunawading Spectres in Australian NBL1 South. The last season Mitchell played at Al Dhafra (D1) in the UAE league.

He is quite an experienced player. Mitchell's career allowed him to visit five different continents, while he played in eight different countries. Mitchell tasted life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Club Atletico Villa San Martin), Bahrain (Samaheej), Germany (Mustangs), Mexico (Soles), Saudi Arabia (Al Hidaya and Al Safa), ABA (IE Invaders), and Peru (La Salle).

Mitchell is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered the top international summer league on the market.

He attended California State University Stanislaus until 2013 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
