US Ansar sign a second foreign player, ex Orbi

Newly promoted Union Sportive el Ansar (ProA) tabbed 25-year old American power forward Daniel Westbrook (208-95, college: Barton, NC). He is the second foreign player on the roster as Senegalese Ibrahima Thomas signed here earlier.

Westbrook played in the summer at Orbi in Georgian A-League. In 6 games he averaged 13.8ppg, 15.7rpg (leader !!!), 2.0apg, 1.0spg and 2.5bpg.

Westbrook has played also professionally in Spain (Zornotza and Cantbasket). Westbrook's team won the Georgian A-League Regular Season. He received the Eurobasket.com All-Georgian A-League 1st Team award in 2020.

He attended Barton College until 2017 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
