Todd O'Brien (ex Sporting) joins ES Sahel

Etoile du Sahel (ProA) added to their roster 31-year old American (has also Armenian passport) center Todd O'Brien (211-110kg-89, college: UAB). He is the second import player in the roster as Canadian Matt Neufeld signed here earlier.
O'Brien played last season at Sporting in Egyptian Superleague. He also played for Hapoel Upper Galilee Safed in Israeli National League where in four games he had 5.0ppg and 4.0rpg.
O'Brien is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit four different continents, while he played in eleven different countries. O'Brien tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in France (Nantes), Japan, Latvia (Ventspils and Jekabpils), Lebanon (Sagesse), Poland (MKS DG), Qatar (Al Gharafa and Al Arabi), Russia, United Arab Emirates (Al Naser), Libya (Ahly Tripoli) and Armenia (Urartu).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others O'Brien played in the final of UAE League in 2018. He was also voted Afrobasket.com All-FIBA Africa Basketball League Honorable Mention in 2019.
O'Brien attended University of Alabama at Birmingham until 2012 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
