ES Sahel signs rookie Matt Neufeld in his first year in pro basketball

Etoile du Sahel (ProA) strengthened their roster with the addition of 24-year old Canadian center Matt Neufeld (211-102kg-96). Neufeld just graduated from UC Davis (NCAA). He has played there for the last three years.

Neufeld started his college career at Saint Louis University (NCAA). His high school career he had spent at Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, KS.

As mentioned above Neufeld is just out of college and it will be his first season in pro basketball.

He represented Canada at the World Championships U19 in Heraklion (Greece) five years ago.
