Defending champion U.S. Monastir (ProA) added to their roster 21-year old international guard Oussama Manaoui (193-99). He played last season at JS Kairouan. He helped them to end the regular season as the second-best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals. A very spectacular season in his career as he was selected AfroBasket.com All-Tunisian League Prospect of the Year.

Manaoui has been also a member of the Tunisian international program for some years. He made his debut for the Tunisian senior team this year and previously he represented Tunisia at U16, U18, and U20 levels.

Oussama made a name for himself in 2017 when he participated in Basketball Without Borders Global Camp in New Orleans. He was a nominee for the HS McDonald's All American Game last summer when he was playing for Wesley Christian High School in the states.
