Ezzahra signs Maodo Nguirane

Maodo Nguirane

Ezzahra Sports (ProA) signed 26-year old Senegalese center Maodo Nguirane (210-105kg-93). He is a dual citizen owning also Spanish passport. Nguirane played last season at Hermine Nantes Atlantique in French ProB. In 17 games he had 7.1ppg and 4.5rpg. He helped them to win the cup.
Nguirane ended the previous (2018-19) season at JS Kairouan where in 7 Africa Basketball League games he recorded very impressive stats: 15.1ppg, 11.1rpg (#2 in the league) and 1.9apg. Nguirane contributed to his team making it to the FIBA Africa Basketball League Final Four. Quite impressive season as he was named to Afrobasket.com All-FIBA Africa Basketball League 2nd Team. But the most of that year he spent at Saint Vallier (NM1) in France. In 10 games he averaged 7.6ppg and 8.4rpg. Nguirane was a member of Senegalese Senior National Team in 2017.
He has played previously professionally in Bulgaria (Academik Plovdiv) and Spain (Unicaja Malaga, Granada, Tacoronte, Castello and Clinicas Rincon).
