Maxi Munanga (ex AS Sale) joins ES Sahel

Etoile du Sahel (Nationale A) agreed terms with 25-year old Congolese international guard Maxi Munanga (191-93kg-93). He played most recently at AS Sale in Moroccan D1 league. He helped them to win the league title and the cup.
Munanga also represented DR Congo at the Afrobasket Championships two years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 10.5ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.5apg, 1.3spg, FGP-2 (75.0%), 3PT: 23.5%, FT: 54.5%.
Munanga has played previously professionally in DR Congo (Molokai) and Gabon (Tali Somo).
On Munanga: A powerful playmaker who can spend some time at SG position too.
