Assetou Traore (ex Toulouse) joins Fox Divas

Fox Divas (D1) agreed terms with 29-year old Mali ex-international swingman Assetou Traore (178cm-1995). She moved there from Toulouse Metropole Basket in French LF2 league where she played this season, but it seems she will not stay with that team after all. In three LF2 games she had 6.0ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.3apg and 2.7spg. The last season she played at another French team Cavigal Nice Basket 06 (also in LF2). She was a member of Mali Senior National Team between 2019 and 2022.
Traore has played also in Spain (Lleida) and Mali (Djoliba Athletic Club Bamako).
She won French NF1 Final Stage championship title in 2023.
