Talita Memani, from the Western Cape Mountaineers, was honored as the Player of the Year at the South Africa. She received multiple other awards, earned the Finals MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and was named to the First Team. Memani's best performance made her team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by the Suns 1 to 1. She previously earned a spot in the First Team back in 2022 and Second Team back in 2023. Memani was the Player of the Week honoree twice during the 25 campaign. Her exceptional play earned her the second spot in points per game, boasting an impressive average of 18. Memani also averaged over 12 rebounds per game in the league. She has totalled 2 games of 20 or more points and recorded double-doubles in 4 games on the year. Memani's 20 points against the Suns were the most she scored in the 2025 season.
Fatimah Chiliza, from the Free State Warriors, was voted to the First Team of South Africa. She was previously selected to the Second Team last year. Chiliza registered over 8 points per game that season in the league. She led the South Africa in assists per game with over 5. Chiliza's 16 points against the Mountaineers were the most she scored in the 2025 season. Among many awards she was selected to the Afrobasket All-South African WBNL Second Team in 2024.
Lindiwe Shabangu, from the Tshwane Suns, was chosen to the First Team at the South Africa. She helped Shabangu's team have an undefeated season as Tshwane Suns was not challenged in the league with a perfect 4 to 0 in the regular season. Shabangu's best performance made her team reach the finals but they unfortunately were defeated by the Mountaineers 0 to 2. She was previously named to Honorable Mention back in 2022. Shabangu orchestrated her way to the fifth spot in points per game, showcasing a dazzling average of over 14. She also had over 10 rebounds per game over the season in the league. Shabangu recorded double-doubles in 3 games at the event. Her 27 points against the Eagles were the most she scored in the 2025 season. Among many awards she was selected as the Afrobasket All-South African WBNL Honorable Mention back in 2022.
Mamotsoari Mofokeng, from the Northern Cape Zebras, was named to the First Team of South Africa. She previously earned Honorable Mention back in 2022 and voted to the First Team back in 2023 and 2024. Mofokeng conducted her way to the third position in averaging a commendable 16 points per game. She also averaged almost 6 rebounds per game in the league. Mofokeng's 24 points against the Mountaineers were the most she scored in the 2025 season. Among many awards she was selected as the Afrobasket All-South African WBNL Honorable Mention back in 2022.
Katlego Nyano, from the Northern Cape Zebras, was selected to the First Team at the South Africa. She logged 7 rebounds per game that season in the league. Nyano led the South Africa in points per game with over 21. Her 24 points against the Suns were the most she scored in the 2025 season.
