Zebras - Suns 62-81

Suns forced 32 Zebras turnovers and had a 26-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Suns looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Sthando Gaula had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Lindiwe Shabangu (-1995) chipped in 13 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Four Suns players scored in double figures. Suns' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Katlego Nyano responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and Mamotsoari Mofokeng produced a double-double by scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists.

Mountaineers - Warriors 69-66

Mountaineers forced 28 Warriors turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Talita Memani notched a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks to lead the effort and Chauness Goliath supported her with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Even 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists by Fatimah Chiliza did not help to save the game for Warriors. Rethabile Mokhobo added 17 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
