Nhlapo's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

Mimi Nhlapo had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Free State Warriors and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
She had a double-double of 18 points and 15 rebounds, while her team beat Panthers (#4, 1-3) 63-49. Warriors maintains the 2nd position in their group in the South African WBNL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Warriors will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. Nhlapo has many years of experience at Warriors, through which she has constantly improved. Nhlapo has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (6th best: 15.3ppg), assists (8th best: 3.8apg) and averages solid 4.3spg and 51.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Bogolo Raoleboga. She is a in her first season at Warriors. In the last game Raoleboga recorded an impressive 8 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course together with Nhlapo she helped Free State Warriors with another comfortable win 63-49 over slightly lower-ranked Panthers (#4, 1-3) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Group B. Warriors consolidated its place in top 2 of the standings. Her team's 3-1 record is not bad at all. Raoleboga is a newcomer at Warriors and despite she is not a team leader yet, every game she becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third place about best performers goes to Thando Mbuthuma of league's leader Tshwane Suns. Mbuthuma scored 17 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. She was a key player of Suns, leading her team to a 63-48 easy win against #2 ranked Warriors. Suns started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game in Group B. Mbuthuma turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Mbuthuma has a great season in South Africa. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 13.3ppg (9th best).
