WBNL is at the halfway of the Regular Season and there are still another 5 rounds left. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

Undefeated Panthers (1-1) recorded its first loss in Potchefstroom on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Eagles (1-2) 72-55. Eagles held Panthers to an opponent 24.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 36.5 percent accuracy of the winners. Eagles forced 38 Panthers turnovers. 28 personal fouls committed by Panthers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Tshepo Mokua who scored 24 points. Ipeleng Nyatlo (-1999) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 8 steals. Eagles' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Siphesihle Mathe produced 8 points and 16 rebounds for the guests. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. Eagles maintains fourth place with 1-2 record. Panthers at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with Mountaineers. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Keatlegile Ramorwesi (-2000) answered with 16 points for Eagles. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Suns keep a position of league leader, which they share with Warriors. Eagles at the other side keep the fourth place with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Suns dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Eagles' 26. Suns forced 38 Eagles turnovers and outrebounded them 59-30 including a 28-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Suns players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. Sthando Gaula orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 22 rebounds and 4 blocks. The former international Lindiwe Shabangu (-1995) contributed with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Suns players scored in double figures. Keatlegile Ramorwesi (-2000) answered with 16 points and Tshepo Mokua added 13 points in the effort for Eagles.
