Magic looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Marlins' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Magic made 8 blocks. It was a good game for Lufuno Mutungutungu who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 7 steals. Lindokuhle Nkabini contributed with 17 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. The former international power forward Jana Cupedo answered with 4 points and 10 rebounds for Marlins. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Magic (3-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed Pride (0-2) 61-36. It was a great evening for Lufuno Mutungutungu who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. Phindile Nkosi helped adding 12 points and 15 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Reneilwe Motebele with 7 points, 14 rebounds and 7 blocks. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
