The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Pride at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by Mountaineers 61-41. Mountaineers held Pride to an opponent 20.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 30.1 percent accuracy of the winners. Mountaineers forced 25 Pride turnovers and outrebounded them 67-47 including a 24-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Mountaineers made 8 blocks. Leah Faurholm (-2006) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners and Lerato Ngakane chipped in 15 points and 12 rebounds.
