Tredoux's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Ingrid Tredoux put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Western Cape Mountaineers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
She had a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds, while her team crushed Soweto P. (#5, 1-4) with 21-point margin 75-54. It allowed WC Mountaineers to take over top position in the South African WBNL. WC Mountaineers have a solid 4-1 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Tredoux as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Ingrid Tredoux averages this season 6.0ppg and 6.8rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Lindokuhle Nkabini of Soweto Panthers. She is a in her 2nd season at Soweto P.. In the last game Nkabini recorded an impressive double-double of 14 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Soweto P. was edged by slightly higher-ranked NW Eagles (#4, 2-3) 49-48. Soweto P. managed to keep the same 5th spot in Group A. 4 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Soweto P. managed to get this year. Nkabini is well-known at Soweto P. and she already established her position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to Zanele Vimbela of league's second-best Limpopo Pride. Vimbela scored 10 points and grabbed 13 rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Limpopo P., leading her team to a 66-47 easy win against #4 ranked NW Eagles in a game of the week. Limpopo P. started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game in Group A. Vimbela turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Vimbela has a very solid season. In 3 games in South Africa she scored 9.3ppg.
