Soweto P. can celebrate finally their first win this season after two consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Rhinos (0-4) 53-41 on Sunday. Soweto P. held M.Rhinos to an opponent 20.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 20.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Soweto P. forced 40 M.Rhinos turnovers and outrebounded them 83-61 including a 41-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Lindokuhle Nkabini who scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Londeka Gumede chipped in 4 points and 17 rebounds. Soweto P.'s coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tjabuya Ndlovu produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the guests. It was the only win of host team this round and in all other games visitors recorded victories. Soweto P.
