38-year old Zimbabwean power forward Charity Chigumba (176-PF-1986) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Tshwane Suns and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
She had a double-double of 13 points and 11 rebounds, while her team outclassed NC Zebras (#4, 1-1) with 41-point margin 73-32. It allowed Tshwane S. to consolidate first place in the South African WBNL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Tshwane S. has a very solid 2-1 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Chigumba had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. It's her second year at Tshwane S. and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Chigumba has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 10.3rpg) and averages solid 4.7spg.

Second best performed player last round was Thandeka Maluleka of Northern Cape Zebras. She is a in her first season at NC Zebras. In the last game Maluleka recorded an impressive 22 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. It was enough for NC Zebras to edge slightly lower-ranked Egoli M. (#5, 1-2) by 2 points 57-55. This victory allowed NC Zebras to move up to 4th position in Group B. Her team's 1-1 record is not bad at all. Maluleka is a newcomer at NC Zebras and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.5ppg (#5).

Third place about best performers goes to another Tshwane S.'s star - Herculina Bila. Bila scored 18 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. She was another key player of Tshwane Suns, helping her team with a 73-32 easy win against #4 ranked NC Zebras in a game of the week. Tshwane S. confirms their top position in Group B. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost games. Bila has a great season in South Africa. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.5ppg (4th best).

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
