Nkosi number one in South Africa WBNL for round 3

Phindile Nkosi put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked MBB, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The player had a double-double of 19 points and 21 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team NW Eagles (#6, 0-2) with 33-point margin 65-32. MBB is placed at 2nd position in South African WBNL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and MBB won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Nkosi had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at MBB, through which she has constantly improved. Phindile Nkosi has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 19.0ppg), assists (6th best: 4.0apg) and averages impressive 4.0spg and 63.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was Nicole Mangondo of Western Cape Mountaineers. Mangondo had a very good evening with a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds. Of course she led WC Mountaineers to another comfortable win outscoring NW Eagles (0-2) 77-47. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Mangondo is one of the most experienced players at WC Mountaineers and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.0ppg (#6). She also registered 12.0 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another WC Mountaineers' star - Talita Mamani. Mamani scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of Western Cape Mountaineers, helping her team with a 77-47 easy win against NW Eagles (#6, 0-2). WC Mountaineers needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group A. Their record at this point is 1 victories and 1 lost games. Mamani has a great season in South Africa. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.0rpg (7th best).
