The game between Top Four teams took place in Potchefstroom. host NW Eagles (0-2) were smashed by MBB (1-0) 65-32. MBB held NW Eagles to an opponent 15.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 37.0 percent accuracy of the winners. MBB forced 24 NW Eagles turnovers. It was a great evening for Phindile Nkosi who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 21 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Mamotsoari Mofokeng helped adding 21 points. The best for the losing side was Fikile Chongwe with 3 points and 13 rebounds. NW Eagles' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game in Cape supposed to be also worth to mention about. NW Eagles (0-2) played at the court of WC Mountaineers (1-1). WC Mountaineers smashed NW Eagles 77-47. It was an exceptional evening for Talita Mamani who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Nicole Mangondo accounted for 14 points and 12 rebounds. Fikile Chongwe came up with 8 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks for NW Eagles in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
