Danja Lunnemann had a great game in the last round for league's best team Soweto P. and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
She had the game-high 30 points adding six rebounds for Soweto P. in her team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Eastern Cape W. (#6, 0-2) with 25-point margin 73-48. It allowed Soweto P. to consolidate first place in the South African WBNL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Soweto P. won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. In the team's last game Lunnemann had a remarkable eight three-pointers out of 12 attempts. She just recently signed at Soweto P. and just after two games she already turned to be a very valuable addition to the team. Lunnemann has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.0ppg. Lunnemann is in league's top in and averages solid 55.0% from behind 3-point line.
Second best performed player last round was Corinne Moussi of league's second-best WC Mountaineers. She is a in her first season at WC Mountaineers. In the last game Moussi recorded impressive double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. Of course she led WC Mountaineers to another comfortable win outscoring Eastern Cape W. (#6, 0-2) 88-18. This victory allowed WC Mountaineers to move up to second position in Group A. Her team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Moussi is a newcomer at WC Mountaineers and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to another Soweto P.'s star - Monalisa Maphumulo. Maphumulo showcased her all-around game by recording 8 points, eleven rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. She was another key player of Soweto P., helping her team with a 73-48 easy win against Eastern Cape W. (#6, 0-2). Soweto P. has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Maphumulo also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Maphumulo has a great season in South Africa. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 2.5apg (8th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
