Zinhle Mtabhane had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Egoli M. and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The had the game-high 14 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Egoli M. in her team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team NC Zebras (#6, 0-4) with 84-point margin 102-18. It allowed Egoli M. to consolidate first place in the South African WBNL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Egoli M. already had a very good start winning all 5 without losing a single one. It's Mtabhane's second year at Egoli M. and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Zinhle Mtabhane averages this season 4.6ppg and 5.2rpg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Egoli M.'s star - Sthando Guala. Guala impressed basketball fans with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Of course together with Mtabhane she helped Egoli M. with another comfortable win outscoring NC Zebras (#6, 0-4) 102-18. Of course Egoli M. still keep Group A's top spot. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 5 games without any defeat. Guala is a newcomer at Egoli M. and despite she is not a team leader yet, every game she becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.
The third best performed player last round was Lufuno Mutungutungu of second-ranked Limpopo P.. Mutungutungu scored 12 points and grabbed fourteen rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Limpopo P., leading her team to a 54-53 win against Mpumalanga R. (#5, 0-4). Limpopo P. needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in Group B. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Mutungutungu has a great season in South Africa. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.8ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 14.0rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 2.8apg (9th best).

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
