ASC Ville de Dakar led early, taking narrow advantages in the first two quarters to hold a halftime edge. APR responded with a strong third quarter to level the game and force overtime after regulation ended tied. In the extra period, APR controlled the tempo and outscored ASCV 6–0 to secure the victory.
