Senegal reaches Quarterfinal Stage at the AfroBasket 2025. They rolled over Rwanda 80-37 in a comfortable win.
Senegal opened the game with a 20-6 run and nailed another 20 points in the second period. Moreover, they dominated the second half to reach the next stage.
Nene Ndiaye (185-F-2004) led well-balanced team with 12 points, whilst Yacine Diop (178-G/F-1995, college: Louisville), Sokhna Ndiaye (194-C-1995) and Lena Timera (178-G-1994) poured in 10 each. Keisha Hampton (185-F-1990, college: DePaul) replied with 11 points in the losing effort.
