Emlak Konut Istanbul (KBSL) re-signed 30-year old Spanish-Senegalese ex-international 196cm center Astou Ndour-Fall. She is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Jessica Thomas signed here earlier.
She was a team leader there last season. In 22 KBSL games she averaged impressive 15.4ppg, 8.9rpg and 1.3apg. She helped them to make it to the cup final. A very good season in her career as she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish KBSL Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week.
The previous (2024) summer she played at Sun in WNBA.
In 2014 she was drafted by San Antonio Silver Stars (WNBA) in second round (16th overall).
She was also a member of the Spanish international program for some years. Ndour-Fall played for Spanish Senior National Team between 2015 and 2022 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2014.
She also represented Spain at the Olympic Games in Tokyo (Japan) four years ago. Ndour-Fall was best scorer at the event with 21 points per game, while added 10.3 rebounds per game.
She is a very experienced player. Ndour-Fall has played also in Italy (Schio, Venezia and Ragusa), Russia (Dynamo Kursk), Spain (Avenida and Gran Canaria) and WNBA (Dallas Wings, S.Antonio SS and Chicago Sky) and Turkey (Fenerbahce, Hatay and Mersin).
Among many awards she won Italian A1 championship title in 2023. She was also selected to Eurobasket.com All-Europeans Center of the Year back in 2016.
