Al Ahly Sporting Club have won Group A of the Women's Basketball League Africa undefeated. They closed Group Stage with a 61-46 win over ASC Ville de Dakar. Trailing 3 points at the end of the first quarter, the reigning champions replied with a 21-16 run and added two more victories in the second half.
Ndioma Kane (190-F-1999) led the way with 19 points and 14 rebounds, whilst Raneem Elgedawy (193-F-1997, college: WKU) produced 11. Kadidia Maiga (185-PF-1997) replied with 17 points in the losing effort.
