Hapoel Kfar Saba signs Cierra Dillard

Hapoel Kfar Saba (D1) signed 28-year old American (has also Senegalese passport) guard Cierra Dillard (176cm-1996, college: Buffalo, agency: LBM Management) for upcoming 2024-25 season. Dillard played this summer at Melbourne Tigers in Australian NBL One. She managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year. In 20 NBL One games just recently she had very impressive stats: 19.8ppg, 5.9rpg, 3.9apg and 2.0spg. The last season she played at Bogazici in Turkish TKBL where in 10 games she recorded also remarkable stats: 25.3ppg, 7.2rpg, 7.4apg and 3.0spg. Good season as she was named League Player of the Week. Dillard also played for Sporting in Egyptian league. The other team she played shortly was Al Ahly in Egypt. Another team she played briefly was Cankaya in Turkish KBSL. In only one game she averaged 11 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal. Another team she played that season for was Capital in Saudi Arabian league. In 10 games she got high stats: 25.3ppg, 7.2rpg and 7.4apg.
In 2019 she was drafted by Minnesota Lynx (WNBA) in second round (20th overall).
The former University of Buffalo star is in her sixth season in pro basketball. She has been regularly called to Senegalese Senior National Team since 2023.
Dillard is quite experienced player. She has played on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America). Dillard has played previously professionally in Finland (Tapiolan Honka), Spain (Casablanca), Egypt (Somouha and Al Ittihad) and Turkey (Yalova Vip).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others she won FIBA African Women Basketball League championship title in 2023. She was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Turkish TKBL Guard of the Year in 2022. Dillard played also for University of Massachusetts for 2 years.
