Senegal earned the second straight victory at the 2026 World Cup Pre-Qualifiers. They held off Brazil for 2-0 record in Kigali. Cierra Dillard (176-G-1996, college: Buffalo, agency: LBM Management) stepped up with 19 points and 7 assists for the African team.
Brazil led by 7 points after ten minutes 21-14. Senegal narrowed the deficit at a single point at halftime 35-36. They held Brazil to just 11 points in the third term to surge ahead. Senegal ignited an 18-12 rally in the fourth period to secure the victory. Ndioma Kane (190-F-1999) scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for Senegal. Emanuely De Oliveira (178-F-1999, college: Florida) responded with 19 points for Brazil.
