Aicha Ndour commits to Shockers

Wichita State University signed 23-year-old Senegalese international center Aicha Ndour (6'6'') for the upcoming 2024-25 season. Ndour, who played for the University of Illinois for the last two years, only averaged 1.5ppg in 8 games last season. Despite her limited playing time, her team won the WBI Championship in 2024.
She played also at Rutgers University between 2020-22 and then at Northwest Florida State College during 2021-22. Her team made it to the NJCAA Division I Sweet 16 in 2022.
She graduated from Cushing Academy (Ashburnham, MA) in 2020.
Ndour also represented Senegal at the WBI Championship Champion this year.
