Cierra Dillard (ex Cankaya) signs at Al Ahly

Al Ahly Cairo (Superleague) landed 27-year old American (has also Senegalese passport) 176cm guard Cierra Dillard (college: Buffalo) to take part in the 1st edition of BAL

She already started the season at Cankaya in Turkish KBSL. In only one game she had 11 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal. She also played for Capital in Saudi Arabian league.

In 2019 she was drafted by Minnesota Lynx (WNBA) in second round (20th overall).

The former University of Buffalo star is in her fifth season in pro basketball. She was called to Senegalese Senior National Team this year.

She is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball she experienced life in five different countries playing on four different continents. She is familiar with European, Asian, African and of course North American leagues. She has played previously professionally in Finland (Tapiolan Honka), Saudi Arabia, Spain (Casablanca), Turkey (Yalova Vip) and Egypt (Sporting, Somouha and Al Ittihad).
Among many awards Dillard's team won FIBA African Champions Cup in 2022. She was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish TKBL Guard of the Year in 2022. She played also for University of Massachusetts for 2 years.
