Ghanian James Amotoe (1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for United Generation Basketball Kigali and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
The 27-year old had a double-double of 29 points and 14 rebounds, while his team edged out Kepler (#6, 5-6) 79-76. UGB maintains the 5th position in Rwandan RBL. UGB is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-6 record. In the team's last game Amotoe had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He turned to be UGB's top player in his first season with the team. Amotoe has impressive league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 25.8ppg. Amotoe is in league's top in assists (6th best: 4.7apg) and averages solid 2.2spg and 52.6% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international power forward Paul Bizimana (206-PF-2003) of Tigers BB Kigali. Bizimana impressed basketball fans with 31 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course Tigers cruised to a 115-106 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked EAU (#7, 5-8). Tigers' 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 7 matches. Bizimana is one of the most experienced players at Tigers and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Tigers' star - American Anthony Tarke (201-F-1998). Tarke showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 9 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Tigers BB Kigali, helping his team with a 115-106 win against the lower-ranked EAU (#7, 5-8). Tigers is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 7-1 record is not that bad... Tarke has a very solid season. In 6 games in Rwanda he scored 11.7ppg. He also has 5.5rpg, 3.3apg, a FGP of 72.4% and 3PT: 53.3%.
