Maiga's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

28-year old Mali power forward Kadidia Maiga (185-PF-1997) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team REG BBC Kigali and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
She had a double-double of 19 points and 19 rebounds, while her team beat Kepler (#2, 8-3) 62-55. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed REG to consolidate first place in the Rwandan D1. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and REG keeps a perfect 10-0 record. In the team's last game Maiga had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for her as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Kadidia Maiga averages just after three games 11.7ppg and 11.0rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Rebecca Cyuzuzo (192-C-2007) of The Hoops Kigali. She is international center in her second season at The Hoops. In the last game Cyuzuzo recorded an impressive double-double of 14 points and 20 rebounds. Of course she led The Hoops to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked GSMRR (#6, 2-8) 68-45. The Hoops' 4th position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 7-3 record is not bad at all. Cyuzuzo is one of the most experienced players at The Hoops and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another The Hoops' star - forward Feza Ebengo (185-F-1999). Ebengo scored 17 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of The Hoops Kigali, helping her team with a 68-45 easy win against slightly lower-ranked GSMRR (#6, 2-8). The Hoops needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 3 lost games. Ebengo has a great season in Rwanda. After only 9 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.1ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 15.1rpg (#1 in league). She also has 2.8bpg and a FGP of 51.4%.
