Coulibaly number one in Rwanda D1 for round 13

Mali Kadiatou Coulibaly (1990) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Kepler BBC Kigali, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 35-year old player had a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Gahini (#8, 0-10) with 60-point margin 90-30. Kepler maintains the 3rd position in Rwandan D1. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Kepler will need more victories to improve their 7-2 record. Coulibaly just recently signed at Kepler, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Kadiatou Coulibaly averages this season 9.1ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was another Kepler's star - young DR Congolese Aichata Traore (185-C-2005). Traore had a very good evening with a double-double of 17 points and 14 rebounds. Of course together with Coulibaly she helped Kepler BBC Kigali with another comfortable win outscoring Gahini (#8, 0-10) 90-30. Kepler's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 7-2 record is not bad at all. Traore is a newcomer at Kepler, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.0ppg (#1). She also registered 10.4 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Kepler's star - guard Nelly Nsanzabaganwa (PG-1995). Nsanzabaganwa scored 10 points and passed 10 assists (!!!). She was another key player of Kepler BBC Kigali, helping her team with a 90-30 easy win against Gahini (#8, 0-10). Kepler needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 2 lost games. Nsanzabaganwa has a great season in Rwanda. After only 8 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.1apg (best passer).
