Coulibaly's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

35-year old Mali center Kankou Coulibaly (187-C-1990) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team REG BBC Kigali and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
She had a double-double of 26 points and 17 rebounds, while her team outclassed RP-IPRC Huye (#6, 2-8) with 43-point margin 91-48. It allowed REG to consolidate first place in the Rwandan D1. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and REG keeps a perfect 9-0 record. In the team's last game Coulibaly had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range. She just recently signed at REG, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Kankou Coulibaly averages this season 22.3ppg, 15.5rpg and 4.8apg.

Second best performed player last round was Vivine Mugisha (162-G-2007) of The Hoops Kigali. She is a guard in her first season at The Hoops. In the last game Mugisha recorded an impressive 29 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course she led The Hoops to another comfortable win outscoring Gahini (#8, 0-9) 94-61. The Hoops' 4th position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 6-3 record is not bad at all. Mugisha is a newcomer at The Hoops and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to center Charlotte Umugwaneza (195-C-1984) of league's second-best APR BBC Kigali. Umugwaneza scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. She was a key player of APR, leading her team to a 84-48 easy win against the lower-ranked GSMRR (#7, 1-7). APR needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 2 lost games. Umugwaneza has a great season in Rwanda. After only 9 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.0rpg (6th best).
