Ebengo number one in Rwanda D1 for round 10 (by Hoops Agents)

DR Congolese Forward Feza Ebengo (185-F-1999) had a very impressive game in the last round for The Hoops Kigali, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 18 rebounds, while her team beat RP-IPRC Huye (#6, 2-6) 89-77. The Hoops is placed at 4th position in Rwandan D1. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. The Hoops will need more victories to improve their 5-3 record. Ebengo just recently signed at The Hoops, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Feza Ebengo has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 15.4ppg) and averages impressive 2.9bpg,2.1spg and 50.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Liliane Ingabire (170-SG-2008) of RP-IPRC Huye. Ingabire had a very good evening with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Bad luck as RP-IPRC Huye lost that game 77-89 to slightly higher-ranked The Hoops (#4, 5-3). RP-IPRC Huye is still second from the bottom in the standings. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories RP-IPRC Huye managed to get this year. Ingabire is well-known at RP-IPRC Huye and is a proven leader in her second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was international forward Ange Irakoze (181-PF-2003) of league's top team REG BBC Kigali. Irakoze scored 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. She was a key player of REG, leading her team to a 80-37 easy win against Gahini (#8, 0-7). REG have amazing season winning all 8 games without a single defeat. Irakoze turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Irakoze has a great season in Rwanda. After only 8 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.8rpg (8th best). She also has 2.4spg and 1.4bpg.
