REG dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to RP-IPRC Huye's 42. REG forced 47 RP-IPRC Huye turnovers and outrebounded them 48-37 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. REG looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by RP-IPRC Huye's players. Center Nandy Uwitonze (-2002) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds.
