Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

D1 top team - REG (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fifth ranked RP-IPRC Huye (1-3) in Kigali 113-59. REG dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to RP-IPRC Huye's 42. REG forced 47 RP-IPRC Huye turnovers and outrebounded them 48-37 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. REG looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by RP-IPRC Huye's players. Center Nandy Uwitonze (-2002) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. The former international Ange Irakoze (181-2003) contributed with 13 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners. REG's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Liliane Ingabire (170-2008) answered with 12 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for RP-IPRC Huye. REG have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 4-0 record. RP-IPRC Huye at the other side keeps the fifth position with three games lost. REG's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kigali APR.
Bottom-ranked GSMRR is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to third ranked APR (3-1) 94-53. The former international point guard Rosine Micomyiza (162-1995) stepped up and scored 24 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and Marie Imanizabayo chipped in 17 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Sharifah Uwase responded with 12 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. APR maintains third place with 3-1 record behind leader REG. GSMRR at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost.
