REG looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when REG made 9 blocks. The best player for the winners was Paul Akon who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Mali Kadidia Maiga (185-1997) chipped in 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Desi-Rae Young (185-2002, college: UNLV) who recorded 13 points and 7 rebounds and DR Congolese center Aichata Traore (185-2005) added 6 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
