REG outrebounded Kepler 50-37 including 20 on the offensive glass. REG looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Mali Kadidia Maiga (185-1997) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Paul Akon chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. American center Desi-Rae Young (185-2002, college: UNLV) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Nelly Nsanzabaganwa (-1995) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Kepler players scored in double figures.
