REG forced 24 The Hoops turnovers and outrebounded them 57-39 including a 37-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. REG looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when REG made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was Paul Akon who scored 21 points and 8 rebounds. American power forward Kristina King (190-1995, college: WVU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Mali Kadiatou Coulibaly (-1990) who recorded 19 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and DR Congolese forward Feza Ebengo (185-1999, agency: LBM Management) added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Mali guard Kamba Diakite (172-1999) contributed with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. American center Desi-Rae Young (185-2002, college: UNLV) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 24 rebounds and 5 assists and DR Congolese center Aichata Traore (185-2005) added 15 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Kepler.
