Ntawutarama number one in Rwanda D1 for round 19

Center Deborah Ntawutarama (C-2003) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Kepler BBC Kigali, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 22-year old player had a double-double of 18 points and 17 rebounds, while her team outclassed UR BBC (#10, 1-19) with 57-point margin 85-28. Kepler is placed at 2nd position in Rwandan D1. They are still close to the very top. Kepler would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 17-3 record. Ntawutarama has many years of experience at Kepler, through which she has constantly improved. Deborah Ntawutarama averages this season 5.5ppg and 6.4rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young DR Congolese Feza Ebengo (185-F-1999, agency: LBM Management) of The Hoops Kigali. Ebengo had a very good evening with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course she led The Hoops to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Azomco (#6, 9-11) 93-60. This victory allowed The Hoops to move up to 4th position in the standings. Her team's 12-8 record is not bad at all. Ebengo is one of the most experienced players at The Hoops and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.1ppg (#6). Her other stats are also decent: 13.1rpg and 4.7apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was another The Hoops' star - Mali Kadiatou Coulibaly (1990). Coulibaly scored 29 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. She was another key player of The Hoops Kigali, helping her team with a 93-60 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Azomco (#6, 9-11). The Hoops needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 8 lost games. Coulibaly has a great season in Rwanda. After 13 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.5ppg (5th best) and rebounds with 11.0rpg (9th best). She also has 3.2spg and 2.5bpg.
