It was an exceptional evening for Senegalese point guard Jean-Jacques Boissy (183-2000) who led the winners and scored 27 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). DR Congolese power forward Garmine Kande (205-1999, agency: Helping Ballers) accounted for 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Burundian center Mohamed Doumbya (-1997) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks and French-Central African power forward Steven-Emile Perriere (203-1995, college: LMU) added 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for UGB in the defeat. Four REG and five UGB players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

It was a great evening for American guard Isaiah Williams (188-1995, college: Georgia St., agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 7 assists. His fellow American import power forward Raphiael Putney (207-1990, college: UMass) helped adding 17 points and 6 rebounds. Williams is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was Mali forward Aliou Diarra (200-2001) with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-1991, college: St.Bonaventure) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds.
