Dusingizumuremyi's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

21-year old point guard Stella Dusingizumuremyi (154-PG-2003) put on an amazing game in the last round for RP-IPRC Huye and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
She got a double-double of 22 points and 15 assists, while her team outclassed UR Kigali (#11, 1-19) with 36-point margin 96-60. RP-IPRC Huye maintains the 5th position in Rwandan D1. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. RP-IPRC Huye will need more victories to improve their 10-8 record. In the team's last game Dusingizumuremyi had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. It was one of impressive evenings for her as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Stella Dusingizumuremyi averages this season 10.9ppg, 9.3rpg and 6.7apg.

Second best performed player last round was Kadiatou Coulibaly (1990) of The Hoops Kigali. She is Mali in her first season at The Hoops. In the last game Coulibaly recorded an impressive double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds. Of course she led The Hoops to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Gahini (#9, 3-14) 87-40. The Hoops' 4th position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 10-8 record is not bad at all. Coulibaly is one of the most experienced players at The Hoops and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.9ppg (#9). Her other stats are also decent: 11.5rpg and 3.6apg.

Third place about best performers goes to another RP-IPRC Huye's star - Chishola Lynn. Lynn scored 10 points and grabbed 25 rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of RP-IPRC Huye, helping her team with a 96-60 easy win against the lower-ranked UR Kigali (#11, 1-19). RP-IPRC Huye needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 8 lost games. Lynn has a very solid season. In 8 games in Rwanda she scored 8.1ppg. She also has 15.3rpg and 1.3bpg.
