They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for Mali Kadidia Maiga (185-1997) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international point guard Odile Tetero (162-1998) helped adding 15 points, 11 assists and 4 steals. REG's coach Esperance Mukaneza felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The game between Top Four teams took place in Kigali. Third ranked host APR (11-2) defeated 4th placed RP-IPRC Huye (8-5) 73-60. It was an exceptional evening for Mali guard Kamba Diakite (172-1999) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 8 steals. Bottom-ranked UR Kigali (0-12) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was.
