The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kigali: The Hoops (#8) and Azomco (#6). Azomco was smashed at home by 20 points 47-67 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The Hoops held Azomco to an opponent 23.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 36.0 percent accuracy of the winners. The Hoops forced 29 Azomco turnovers and outrebounded them 51-39 including 21 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Mali Kadiatou Coulibaly (-1990) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 16 rebounds. DR Congolese forward Feza Ebengo (185-1999, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 18 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Adeline Ihimbazwe replied with 6 points and 16 rebounds for Azomco. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The Hoops (4-5) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with GSMRR. Newly promoted Azomco dropped to the eighth position with six games lost.
An interesting game for APR (8-2) which played road game in Butare against one of their biggest challengers RP-IPRC Huye (6-4). Third ranked APR had an easy win 76-57. The former international center Charlotte Umugwaneza (195-1984) had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 22 rebounds and 7 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and Marie Imanizabayo chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals during the contest. APR's coach Charles Mushumba allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side the former international Cecile Nzaramba (-1993) responded with 18 points and 9 rebounds. APR have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 8-2 record having just two points less than leader Kepler. RP-IPRC Huye lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with EA Univ.

Kadidia Maiga notched a double-double by scoring 24 points, 21 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals to lead the effort. Even 7 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals by Josephine Uwineza did not help to save the game for Gahini.
